Remaining fibres binder

Use:

Hawetol is a tested product and is used after the removal of asbestos coatings. It binds remaining fibres and avoids a new air pollution.

Advantages:

Hawetol is ready for use, simply to handle and not sensitive to flames. The liquid consistence allows a wetting also of rough surfaces and a penetration in fine cracks and fissures. The excellent adhesive force on the different backgrounds allows an universal use. After drying an elastic, chemical, neutral coat arises. Hawetol can be repainted with many others coatings substances and can be employed in the building up of coating systems.

Consumption:

A quantity of about 200 g/m² is adequate to an even, not sucking underground for a fibres binding coating. For vertical surfaces a repeated coating is possibly necessary in order to reach a faultless fibres binding especially on strong sucking undergrounds.

Packing:

25 L / 26 kg in a plastic canister

Storage:

Frost-proof, storage time about 6 months in original package

Handling:

The product is ready for use and can not be diluted! Before handling, Hawetol has to be well stired. The surfaces to treat have to be coated twice crosswise with an airless sprayed layer. Between each layers a time of drying has to be observed which avoid a damage because of the following layer. It is not possible to re-emulsify Hawetol after the drying. A succeeding layer with others water soluble substances can take place only after the complete drying of the former coating.

Cleaning and maintenance:

So long Hawetol is not completely dry, the layer can possibly be removed with water in addition to a domestic cleaner, afterwards only mechanically.

Health and security:

Hawetol is not inflammable and doesn’t give off steams detrimental to health. The aerosols during the handling can irritate the mucosa of the respiratory tract. In this case, the wearing of a respiratory protection is recommended.
